The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to invite you to the event "Italian Business in China: History & Future – China 2026 Outlook – A Year-End Gathering with the Italian Community", taking place on Monday, 8th December 2025.

The event will consist of a business seminar part, which will take place at Jing An Shangri-La (West Shanghai 1218 Middle Yan'an Road, Jing An Kerry Centre on West Nanjing Road - 静安香格里拉大酒店 上海市静安区延安中路1218号) starting from 5pm with registration.

All guests will then be invited to join the Christmas dinner, which will be held in the next-door restaurant, Calypso (No.1218, Yan'an Middle Road, Jing'an Temple Subway Station Entrance & Exit 6 Pedestrian 270 Meters - 上海市静安区延安中路1218号嘉里中心南区广场Calypso地中海餐厅).


This special year-end event will guide participants through a comprehensive journey across the past, present, and future of the Italian business presence in China:


History: an exploration of the origins and evolution of the Italian business community in China


Present: a look back at the key milestones and achievements of 2025, including the Chamber's main activities and the dynamics shaping the current business environment


Future: a forward-looking analysis delivered through KPMG's keynote Decoding China 2025, offering macroeconomic insights, consumer trends, and strategic guidance for multinational companies operating in an increasingly competitive market.


Beyond its content-rich program, the event offers a unique opportunity to engage with the Sino-Italian business community, learn from leading institutions and companies, and celebrate the festive season in a warm and convivial Italian atmosphere.

Jing'An Shangri-La

Jing An Shangri-La, Shanghai is located in the Jing An Business District, one of Shanghai's most prestigious and fashionable business and commercial districts. Known as one of the most popular dining spots in the area, Calypso Restaurant & Lounge offers casual Mediterranean dining with focuses on authentic and rustic Italian specialty. Designed by world-famous architect Shigeru Ban, the venue is housed in an airy two-storey structure, which is modern with detailed traditional touches.
