The China Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) and its Energy and Environment Protection Working Group (EEPWG) are collecting interests to participate in the offline Training Program on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).

The program is implemented with the support of Nordiq Group consulting.


The program is designed to equip businesses and professionals with the knowledge and tools to navigate the evolving regulatory landscape of CBAM and its impact on international trade and industry, with a focus on practical application and strategic planning for compliance.


Program

  • Module 1: Understanding Carbon Market Policies, and trading regulations of China and EU ETS;
  • Module 2: Select 3 industrials including Aluminum/Iron, Steel and Fertilizers for CBAM compliance with guidance for application;
  • Module 3: Engage with the experts and clarify your doubts about CBAM submission.

  • Companies seeking to comply with and leverage CBAM regulations
  • Professionals in energy transition, climate change solutions, and sustainability
  • Others interested in learning more about regulations and applications


Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance issued by the organizers.


Please note that the training will start if a minimum number of participants for each location is reached and will be carried out between March-April 2025. Detailed calendar and session information will be confirmed according to the final number with the participants.
