Founded in 2000 in Pinghu, Zhejiang, Semar Cina marked a major step in Semar Group's international expansion as its first overseas manufacturing site. The site brought to China the expertise in electronic and electromechanical solutions that the Group had developed in Italy since 1973.
Over the years, Semar Cina has evolved into a center of expertise for tailored solutions in current measurement and power supply, combining technical know-how with proximity to customers, suppliers, and partners across the region.
Today, the company plays a key role in the Group's global strategy, serving as a production and supply base while strengthening its position as a commercial platform for the Asian market. Its location and manufacturing capabilities enable a rapid response to customer needs, foster stronger local partnerships, and support the Group's growth across Asia.
This role has become increasingly relevant as the market expands, driven by the AI trend and the construction of data centers, which require accurate energy monitoring solutions. Semar Cina's proficiency in current measurement and power supply positions the company to meet the demands of this evolving sector.
