Abstract:
The resilience showed over the years by the bitcoin infrastructure, both to individual and organized hacking attacks, may well distill from just one basic requirement immutability in which nothing can be changed or modified.
Immutability is in fact one of the main preconditions in creating a working blockchain where the underlying framework of bitcoins exist and thrive.
Following a brief introduction to blockchain, this two-hours presentation will focus on:
- Immutability โ how to obtain it in a blockchain;
- Requirements โ the minima hardware and software required to be resilient to attacks;
- Application โ protecting internal data of customers and proprietary information;
