The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) in partnership with Responsabilitas Limited (Shanghai) carried out a report on sustainable consumption titled "Sustainable Consumption in China: State of the Art of Sustainable Products and Potential Benefits of Entering the Chinese Market".
According to the report, sustainable consumption in China is growing as sustainability and environmental impact are becoming critical.
Consumers are more environmentally conscious and started looking into buying sustainable products to protect the environment and improve the quality of life.
This approach to sustainability could open new opportunities for SMEs operating in the Chinese market.
