We would like to inform that there are just few seats left for the company visit organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) in collaboration with Ferrero Hangzhou Factory. The event will take place in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, on October 18, 2024. Hurry up to secure your ticket!
The aim of the initiative is to understand the development of the very famous Italian food company in China and to get a deeper understanding of the business opportunities between the Italian community and the Hangzhou city area, as well as to get in touch with local companies and potential new business partners.
The event will include visits to Ferrero Hangzhou Factory and Xingu Technology & Innovation Industrial Park.
Ferrero Hangzhou Factory Introduction
Founded in 1946, the Ferrero Group is now the third-largest company in the global chocolate confectionery market with more than 47,000 employees in over 50 countries and regions. In 2007, Ferrero China was established. In 2015, Ferrero's first manufacturing plant in the country was established and put into operation in Hangzhou as Ferrero Food (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. The plant was recognized as another milestone for the Group's expansion in Asia.
Ferrero Hangzhou Factory is also the world's first Ferrero production factory which obtains full ISO certifications. The factory has also set up a national bio-safety level 2 laboratory which has been accredited by CNAS in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17025, established the factory's capability and integrity in sampling and inspection to ensure food safety and product quality excellence.
In 2021, Ferrero Food Hangzhou was honored with the "Sustainability Green Panda Award" by the China-Italian Chamber of Commerce (CICC), meanwhile Ferrero China was honored with the "Sustainable Business Award" by the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China. In 2023, Ferrero China won the 12th "China Food Health Seven-Star Award". In 2024, Ferrero China was awarded the 13th "Golden Panda Award" of Italian Taste by CICC. These awards reflect the industry's professional recognition towards Ferrero's efforts in food safety, quality control, consumer satisfaction and sustainable practices.
Introduction of QIANTANG IC VALLEY
(Xingu Technology & Innovation Industrial Park)
Established on May 20, 2020, QIANTANG IC VALLEY is a pivotal industrial platform in Qiantang District, spanning a key planned area of 15.6 square kilometers. It follows a "three cores, two enhancements" strategy to foster a new paradigm in integrated circuit industry development, which focuses on core areas such as chip design, EDA tools, IP development, semiconductor equipment and materials, while also enhancing advancements in wafer manufacturing and advanced packaging testing.

A complimentary shuttle bus will be organized from the Shanghai CICC office to Ferrero Hangzhou facotory, departing at 8:00 am and arriving at 9:50 am. At the end of the visit, the shuttle bus will leave at 16:30 to bring participants back to Shanghai.

Please note, CICC reserves the right to apply the following policy for tickets cancellation:
· Cancellation within 48 hours from the event: 100% refund.
· Cancellation within 24 hours from the event: no refund.
