China Italy Chamber of Commerce

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is the only business organization recognised by both the Italian Government (Ministry of Economic Development, MiSE) and People’s Republic of China (Ministry of Civil Affairs, MoCA) that aims to boost the internationalization and settlement of Italian business and to promote the “Made in Italy” in the PRC.

Established in 1991, CICC has now offices in Beijing, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Suzhou. The CICC Members (575 in 2016) represent the Italian business community such as public-invested and multinational corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises (both manufacturing and commercial), service companies etc.

To companies settled in China and those with on-going business within the Chinese market, the CICC offers informative, training and business networking opportunities. Besides, the CICC qualifies itself as a voicing platform for them to share topics of common interest. To companies interested in strengthening their business in China, the CICC offers consultancy, assistance and marketing services.

The established network together with the institutional endorsement provided the CICC with the opportunities to organise several activities boosting private businesses. b2b, institutional and business missions, participation to fairs both in China and in Italy, networking events, gala dinners, awarding ceremonies, culinary events, concerts, career days, etc.

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to invite to "GIRO D'ITALIA, RIDE LIKE A PRO", a GIRO Festival Exhibition Cooperation that will be held on December 7th and 8th at National Convention and Exhibition Center (NECC), in Shanghai Qingqu.

10000 Square meters festival space at NECC north plaza will include stage, children's balance cycling as well as Italian elements exhibition to present authentic Italian lifestyle.

In the framework of GIRO D'ITALIA, RIDE LIKE A PRO, CICC is taking care of the recruitment of Italian companies and is pleased to announce that registrations are now opened for those companies willing to book a stand!


ABOUT THE EVENT


Originated in 1909, Giro d'Italia is the road cycling race held in Italy every year in May. Its subordinate amateur event brand "Ride like a Pro" is a two-day cycling event, providing riding routes of a variety of distances in a safe environment for riders of all ages and professional degrees, and aims to allow every rider to enjoy the supreme experience of a professional rider and follow the spirit of "doing all your best" in the Italian cycling culture.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED


The Festival is aimed at presenting the Italian lifestyle by engaging renowned Italian companies that will get involved in B2C activities having the opportunity to exhibit and directly sell on site their products in the area called the Italian elements exhibition.


The recruitment is open to Italian companies involved in different sectors such as F&B, Interior Design, and Tourism and many more.

The following items will be provided for every Italian exhibitor for free:

  • 1 standard 3*3m Tent
  • 1 Desk
  • 2 chairs
  • Electricity


Italian restaurants are more than welcome!

Please read carefully the following regulations for restaurant/catering:

  • No open firing, all heating must use electricity power
  • All restaurant/catering must provide documents below for F&D Administration approval before Nov 18
  • Copy of qualification certificate, business license
  • Service scale
  • Equipment
  • Process/disinfect/clean flow
  • Copy of health certificate (onsite staff)


Please note: The participation for all the companies is free of charge!


This opportunity is offered both to Member and Non Member companies, but priority in the reservation of booths will be given to CICC members, considering the maximum number of booths available is 20.
