China-Italy Chamber of Commerce

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is the only business organization recognised by both the Italian Government (Ministry of Economic Development, MiSE) and People’s Republic of China (Ministry of Civil Affairs, MoCA) that aims to boost the internationalization and settlement of Italian business and to promote the “Made in Italy” in the PRC.

Established in 1991, CICC has now offices in Beijing, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Suzhou. The CICC Members (575 in 2016) represent the Italian business community such as public-invested and multinational corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises (both manufacturing and commercial), service companies etc.

To companies settled in China and those with on-going business within the Chinese market, the CICC offers informative, training and business networking opportunities. Besides, the CICC qualifies itself as a voicing platform for them to share topics of common interest. To companies interested in strengthening their business in China, the CICC offers consultancy, assistance and marketing services.

The established network together with the institutional endorsement provided the CICC with the opportunities to organise several activities boosting private businesses. b2b, institutional and business missions, participation to fairs both in China and in Italy, networking events, gala dinners, awarding ceremonies, culinary events, concerts, career days, etc.

The CICC’s work is about: deep understanding of the Chinese market, thanks to CICC rooted relationship with the business community and the local institutions; open dialogue and interaction with companies, being CICC itself a network of professionals; efficacy and efficiency, a must-have for a no-profit organization facing competition in providing qualified and affordable services.

Event Details

Our Energy and Environmental Protection Working Group (EEPWG) is glad to invite you to the event "E-Mobility: Where Are We Heading?" on February 15th 2022, at 6:00 pm (CST) / 11:00 am CET. Welcome to participate in Shanghai – at Italo Trattoria – or online. The seminar will be followed by a networking Aperitivo for onsite participants.

Since its discovery, electricity has been central to the evolution of human life. Every piece of equipment around us needs energy. Our homes are comfortable places thanks to gas and electricity, while, when we are outside our shelters, the fuel also comes into play for our mobility.

China plays a fundamental role as a producer and consumer of energy in the world. But what is the global demand for energy? And how our mobility will be affected? How are companies using it and what are the new trends? Our experts will answer these – along with many other – key questions on energy and the future of mobility during our session.
