His research fields cover the fundamental research of copper, lead and zinc industry chains, mainly covering supply and demand, cost, policy, futures, and other contents of the industry chain. He keeps close contacts with domestic and foreign industrial chains and related enterprises (mines, smelters, processing plants, terminals, traders, investment banks, fund companies, etc.) and provide consulting services, regularly participate in the industrial chain utilization rate, cost, terminal PMI and other investigations, and field investigation of the production status of each enterprise. Good at digging the operating logic behind the price, and timely follow up the market dynamics.

She graduated from Central South University of Forestry and Technology with a major in Finance.
Her research fields cover steel industry chains such as rebar and hot coil.
She has been tracking the trends of domestic steel mills, steel trading markets, processing plants and downstream steel enterprises for a long time and has maintained in-depth communication with relevant personnel in the industry, futures and fund companies, so as to have a deeper understanding of the industry fundamentals. She regularly participated in the research of industrial chain utilization rate, cost, and terminal PMI, and inspected the production status of various enterprises on the spot. She is good at digging out the changes of industrial chain factors, grasping the market trends, and exploring trading opportunities.

Vivian is in charge of East China including Shanghai office and other offices surrounding. Together with the blended team, Vivian provides foreign entities entering China with comprehensive investment and management advice, and guides investors through the process of business plan, establishment, maintenance and expansion.
With more than 16 years of legal practice, Vivian is experienced in incorporation, corporate compliance, mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, legal due diligence, intellectual property, labor law, contract review and drafting, dispute settlement, arbitration and litigation etc.
Vivian has a law degree in International Economic Law from East China University of Political Science and Law, as well as Master of Business Administration, holds the Certificate of Lawyer’s Qualification and is a member of International Bar Association. Apart from her strong knowledge and experiences in the legal and Human Resources fields, she possesses a comprehensive understanding of the key tax and accounting topics relating to foreign direct investment in China.

Ivy Gu is a manager in our Shanghai office of Dezan Shira & Associates where she leads our Corporate Accounting Services (Suzhou) teams.
She assists clients in the areas of corporate accounting, cost review and advisory, internal financial review, due diligence and internal control review.
Before joining Dezan Shira & Associates in November 2013, Ivy Gu was a manager at BDO China, focusing on financial advisory service. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA).
