Mick’s team is responsible for supporting rights holders develop effective and innovative strategies to enforce their IPR effectively on Alibaba’s various e-commerce platforms, and working with universities, associations and government departments on special cooperation programs. During his 4+ years at Alibaba, Mick has led special cooperation programs for brands from around the world, including the Alibaba Anti-Counterfeiting Alliance (AACA). Starting in late 2020, Mick’s team launched “Simp’Ali IPR Cooperation”, which aims to make enforcement as streamlined as possible for SMEs.

Luca is a TM attorney with a Law Degree from the University of Turin and a Master in International Management from the SDA Bocconi. He is IP Legal Counsel at Ferrero since 2015 where he is responsible for IP in West Europe and globally for licensing, digital and brand protection (online, offline) activities. Prior to join Ferrero, he worked for 3 years at Ermenegildo Zegna. He also spent almost one year in Beijing where, among other things, he cooperated for the IPR Desk of the Italian Embassy.
