During the first China International Import Expo held in Shanghai on Nov 5th, 2018, Chinese president Xi Jinping mentioned in his speech the development of the Yangtze River Delta and its importance to national strategy. As one of the most active regions of Chinese economy, the Yangtze River Delta coordinates regional differences and optimizes industrial distribution, actively implementing the integration strategy in accordance with the trend of industrial transfer.
