Sara Marchetta has been living and working in China for more than 20 years. She joined Chiomenti Law Firm (a major Italian Firm) in 2008 and became a partner in 2011.
Sara Marchetta mainly assists Chinese and Italian and clients in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, cross border contracts (joint Ventures, technology transfers), corporate governance, shareholders’ agreements and corporate affairs, including focus on CSR and ESG matters. She was involved in the assistance for the major Chinese investments into Italy and she regularly advises a number of Italian MNCs in their cross-border investments into China, including corporate and legal affairs in the Hong Kong S.A.R. and expansion projects to the South-East Asia.
Guido Bellitti mainly deals with EU Law, with a specific focus on EU and national competition law. His practice includes State aids, Foreign Subsidies, Internal Market, public procurement and concessions, environmental and consumer law, as well as EU sectorial regulations concerning inter alia media, electronic communications, energy and transport, as well as EU international sanctions regime. In the aforementioned sectors, Guido advised several companies on EU and national matters, also representing them in connection with proceedings before the EU Commission (regarding cartels, abuse of dominance and merger control), in judicial proceedings before the Court of Justice and the General Court of the EU, as well as - at the national level - before ordinary and administrative courts and the independent regulatory authorities (namely Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato, Autorità per le Garanzie nelle Comunicazioni).
In 2023 Guido has been ranked as "EU and competition law Leading Individual” for Italy by The Legal 500.
Isabella Perego joined the Firm in 2020 as a Partner.
Isabella mainly deals with EU law and regulated sectors, including inter alia electronic communications and media. Her practice also includes competition law and State aids with a specific focus on transport infrastructure and services, Internal Market, public procurements and concessions, EU institutional matters, data protection, namely in the information technology sector, as well as environmental and consumer law. Isabella regularly advises and represents Italian and international clients before the EU Commission, as well as before the Italian independent authorities and jurisdictions. Isabella Perego has a significant litigation expertise before the Court of Justice and the General Court of the EU, both in direct actions and preliminary ruling proceedings.
