The China- Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to invite you to event Explore Suzhou Silk Museum on 23rd January 2022, organized by CICC and Suzhou Silk Museum.


ANCIENT TWIN-CITY RELATIONSHIP

The ancient Silk Road serves as the traditional link between the China & Italy, which also built and friendship bridge for Venice and Suzhou. The two cities have different sizes but a common treasure, which is water. In 2010 during the Shanghai World Expo, Venice and Suzhou renewed their twin city relationship, of which restorations of art and culture have become the cornerstones.


CHINA-ITALY YEAR OF CULTURE AND TOURISM

2022 is China-Italy Year of Culture and Tourism. This event will comprehensively display the Chinese silk culture and art style to the Italian community in Suzhou, deepen the culture understanding, and deepen the friendship between the Chinese and Italian peoples.

The event has 30 seats for adults and 15 seats for children respectively on a first-come, first-served basis.

14:30 - 15:30 Free tourism interpretation of silk museum

15:30 - 17:00 Afternoon Tea

15:30 - 17:00 Kids experiential activity —_Imitation Song Diancha (Whisking)

The powdered tea mixed into hot water and frothed with a whisk before serving.

17:00 - 17:15 Group photo & ending
